JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the all-electric MG M9, an ultra-premium MPV priced at Rs 69.9 lakh (ex-showroom). This new flagship model will be sold exclusively through MG’s newly introduced ‘Select’ dealership network, which caters specifically to its premium and luxury offerings in India.
Despite its MPV body style, the MG M9 breaks away from traditional boxy designs with a futuristic and sophisticated exterior. Highlights include a sleek connected LED lighting setup at both ends, 19-inch alloy wheels, and generous chrome accents that elevate its road presence.
At 5,200 mm long, 2,000 mm wide, and 1,800 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,200 mm, the MG M9 is significantly larger than rivals like the Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire, making it one of the most spacious MPVs on sale in India.

Under the hood—figuratively—the M9 is powered by a 90kWh battery pack mated to a single electric motor that generates 241 bhp and 35.7 kgm of torque. MG claims a driving range of 548 km (MIDC cycle), putting it among the top contenders in the electric luxury MPV segment.
Inside, the M9 offers a plush, lounge-like experience wrapped in Cognac Brown suede and leather upholstery. The dashboard design is clean and modern, with full-width AC vents, a 12.23-inch freestanding infotainment touchscreen, and a 7-inch digital driver’s display.
The first row features heated, ventilated, and massage-enabled electric seats, while the second row gets two luxurious captain chairs with 16-way power adjustment. These include a full recline function, electrically operated Ottomans, and an armrest-mounted touchscreen control panel. Optional rear entertainment screens further enhance the backseat experience.
