A couple of years ago, Mahindra Electric launched its first electric three-wheeler called the Treo. Now, it’s come out with a cargo variant of that called the Treo Zor.

Compared to other cargo carrying three-wheelers, the Treo Zor boasts a longer wheelbase and larger wheels, too. In addition to that, it also has the best-in-class tray loading height of 675 mm and a maximum payload carrying capacity of 550 kg. You can opt for either a delivery van, pickup or flatbed variants of the Treo Zor.

It produces 10.7 bhp and 4.28 kgm of torque from its electric motor and also comes with a special boost mode for some extra power. On a full charge, it can travel up to 125 km and you can charge it in the same 15 AMP socket where you would charge your mobile phone. It takes 3 hours 50 minutes to charge it from zero to 100 percent. There’s also regenerative braking to extend the battery further.

The best part about the Mahindra Treo is that it has a homegrown powertrain with a maintenance-free lithium-ion battery pack. The usable life of the battery pack exceeds 1.5 lakh km, so you can rest assured it won’t let you down.

On the features front, it gets a telematics unit, GPS tracking, lockable glove box, a 12 V socket and reverse buzzer. This is one effective way to reduce the carbon footprint from your business. The Mahindra Treo Zor electric can be yours for Rs 2.73 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
