Volkswagen India has made two of its most important cars in the current line up, the Polo and Vento, a bit more sporting. The company has just launched limited-run special-edition variants for the duo, called VW Polo Pace and VW Vento Sport. The two cars remain mechanically unchanged but now come with added presence, thanks to aesthetic upgrades. And the best part is that VW India isn’t charging anything extra over what the corresponding variants in their regular avatars are priced at.

VW Polo Pace

The Polo Pace, to be available on the new 1-litre petrol engined version, gets new 15-inch Razor alloy wheels. The said variant will only be offered in the Comfortline trim.

The list on the Vento Sport is longer. The special edition gets 16-inch Portago alloys, black ORVMs, boot-lid spoiler finished in glossy black, and glossy wrap for the roof. The Vento Sport variant will only be available in the Highline and Highline+ trims of the 1.2-litre petrol- and 1.5-litre diesel-engined versions (both MT and AT). And of course there’s the new, glorious Flash Red paint choice which you can see in the photo on top.

VW India’s Director Stephen Knapp said, “At Volkswagen, we constantly enhance our product offerings to keep up with the fast changing trends and consumer aspirations. The Polo and Vento have been amongst our best-selling carlines since its inception in the Indian market. Through continuous value additions in our product portfolio, we aim to give our customers the power of choice.”
