On the occasion of Gudi Padwa and Ugadi (regional new year celebrations), Volkswagen India delivered 500 cars in a single day. Apart from the fact that it’s an auspicious day to buy a car for many, VW’s offers (finance and exchange benefits including loyalty bonus) added to it.

VW India’s Director, Steffen Knapp said, We are delighted with the overwhelming response received from our customers this festive season. Festivals are all about celebrations and joy, and to keep up with the momentum, we offered attractive benefits to our customers. We welcome our new customers to the Volkswagen family and would like to assure them our world class service experience.”

The company currently offers the Polo, Ameo, Vento, Tiguan, and Passat in India. The Polo was recently updated with a 1-litre petrol engine (replacing the old 1.2-litre unit), more about which can be read by clicking here. New special edition variants of both the Vento and Polo were launched recently, too. Further details about those two can be found here.
