For fans of classic motorcycles, Norton is a name which resonates deeply with the good old days. So, it was pretty good news when we heard are very own TVS Motor Company had decided to take the reigns and give a new lease of life to the 123-year old motorcycle brand. Now, there’s some more good news. Norton Motorcycles have announced a shift to an all-new headquarters in Solihull, Westland. This new state-of-the-art production and manufacturing facility is due to open in March and will serve as a permanent base of operations for the iconic marque.

Furthermore, company officials state this new home will house the design, engineering, purchasing, sales, marketing, support and production team. The first task at hand will be resuming production for motorcycles, for which customers who have already paid a deposit. Norton will first resume production of the Commando Classic model at the Solihull site. Moreover, production of the gorgeous V4SS will also commence soon. All we can do now is day-dream about the day TVS Motors brings Norton Motorcycles to India, which we’re hoping is not too far way.
