The wait is over for Indian Ducatisti. Ducati has re-entered the Indian market after a noticeable hiatus, this time with an official subsidiary – Ducati India Pvt. Ltd.

Three dealerships – one each in Mumbai, Delhi and Gurgaon – are already fully prepared to open doors to customers and a dealership in Bengaluru is in the pipeline as well. In terms of motorcycles, so far, Ducati has the Monster, Hypermotard, Diavel and 1299 Panigale in stock but a few other models (Multistrada, Hyperstrada and, of course, the Scrambler) will follow soon.

Special emphasis has been laid on improving the after-sales service experience, previously a grey area due to conspicuous operations by the then importer. Technicians are undergoing speical training to gain quick expertise in the maintenance of Ducati’s entire model range, to improve the ownership experience.

Ducati India Pvt Ltd Managing Director, Ravi Avalur confirmed: “Our intention was to open in India with an official Ducati presence only when we were absolutely ready. I can now confirm that our after-sales service centres will ensure exactly the same high standards achieved across Ducati’s global network. We really appreciate the efforts put in by AMP and Infinity in setting up these world class dealerships in record time.”
