Volkswagen has finally launched the Virtus GT Edge, which had been showcased a couple of months ago. The Volkswagen Virtus GT Edge may be a limited-edition model, but it benefits from the addition of a few creature comforts, apart from the new matte paint scheme. The Virtus GT Edge can also only be had with the more powerful 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine, mated to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG. To make it even more exclusive, the Volkswagen Virtus GT Edge can only be purchased via online bookings.

Not only the Virtus, but the Taigun also benefits from the addition of new features. In terms of the underpinnings and mechanicals, the Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun remain unchanged — there really isn’t any reason to change anything there. However, earlier this year, VW finally gave the customers the option of buying a 1.5-litre Virtus with a manual transmission. The Taigun and Virtus receive electric adjustment for both the front seats, along with footwell illumination on the Topline and GT Plus variants. The GT Plus variant on both cars additionally receive a subwoofer and an amplifier.

Volkswagen has also announced the ‘Volksfest 2023’ ahead of the festive season. The Volksfest 2023 brings in assured rewards and benefits for customers on bookings and test drives. This scheme will be active from October 3, 2023 to November 15, 2023.
