Samsung unveiled its next-generation foldables — the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the surprisingly affordable Flip 7 FE — at its Galaxy Unpacked event. Prices start at ₹89,999 in India, making foldable tech more accessible than ever before. All three devices ship with One UI 8 on Android 16, loaded with Galaxy AI enhancements and refined designs.

The Fold 7 impresses with a noticeably lighter and slimmer profile than its predecessor — weighing 215 grams, even lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and measuring 8.9 mm folded and 4.2 mm unfolded. It houses the blazing-fast Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, up to 16GB RAM, and 1TB storage. The 4,400mAh battery supports 25W wired and wireless charging, delivering dependable performance in an exceptionally sleek package.

Starting price: ₹1,74,999 (256GB). Available in Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jet Black, and an online-exclusive Mint.

The Flip 7 builds on its legacy with more polish — it’s now 6.5 mm thick unfolded and sports a bigger 6.9-inch main display. Its 4.1-inch wrap-around cover display encircles the rear camera module for better usability. Under the hood, an Exynos 2500 chip, 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage combine with a 4,300mAh battery. Dual cameras (50MP wide + 12MP ultrawide) and a 10MP selfie sensor ensure solid photography. It’s IP48-rated with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and aluminium frame for durability.

Flip 7 pricing begins at ₹1,09,999 (256GB) and goes up to ₹1,21,999 for the 512GB variant.

Meanwhile, the Flip 7 FE offers a more affordable cost of entry — ₹89,999 for 8GB + 128GB or ₹95,999 for the 256GB version. It closely mimics the Flip 6 under the hood, featuring an Exynos 2400 chip and 4,000mAh battery.

Samsung includes six months of free Google AI Pro access and 2TB of cloud storage with the Fold 7. Buyers can also opt for Samsung Care+ for extended protection. To foster community engagement, Samsung has launched the Galaxy Club — a new way to stay connected with device releases and experiences.

In addition to the foldables, Samsung revealed the Galaxy Watch 8 series, running One UI 8 on wearables and featuring the Google Gemini AI assistant.
