The CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League has just added a new team in its lineup ahead of its inaugural season. For those who do not know, the CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League is a franchise-based league jointly organized by Team SX1 and the FMSCI. BigRock Motorsports is led by ex-Hero MotoSports Dakar racer and an accomplished supercross champion CS Santosh, along with co-owners N Gautam and Uday Shankar, and it is an extension of its parent company — the BigRock Dirt Park, currently present in Hyderabad and Kolar.

BigRock Motorsports joins the list of franchise teams in the CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League, which includes teams such as Panchshil Racing, SG Sports, and Gujarat Trailblazers. The involvement of CS Santosh along with CEAT ISRL should help motivate young riders looking to take up a career in motorsports, thereby working in-line with CEAT ISRL’s motive of shaping up the motorsport scene in India.

The inaugural season of the CEAT Indian Supercross League is expected to begin in December 2023, with the first round taking place in New Delhi, followed by another three in Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad. The league will feature four racing categories — a 450 cc category solely for international riders, followed by two 250 cc categories, one each for international and domestic riders, and an 85 cc category for junior riders. More announcements are expected to take place in the coming weeks!
