November 2021

Summary

The Mod Special Issue is here and we have featured some of the finest machines (more on that later). As you can see this time we have Bajaj’s iconic Pulsar on our cover. Plus, the cover speaks for itself about how much fun we had with them! Elsewhere, Rivan jumped right into the ring with the Tata Punch to test its sparring err… driving abilities. Again, Rivan took the wheel of a returning Audi Q5, after a brief hiatus from the Indian market. Yet again, there was a camouflaged drive planned by Skoda, but thankfully this time it was the upcoming Slavia, which Kartik thinks is going to be Skoda’s next big hope. Meanwhile, Rivan pitched his VW Polo with the DSG ‘box against the new Polo GT TSI. Remember the modified machines we earlier mentioned? Janak drove a futuristic version of the Fiat Millecento and then decided to drive off a mental Toyota Supra into the night. Lucky him!

On the two-wheel side of things, Pablo rode the big-bored Royal Enfield Interceptor, while Janak and Kartik met a really cool dad who wants his son to one day ride his RX 100 café racer modified by YC Design. This led Janak to seek inspiration for his future motorcycle build from a magnificently modified KTM 390 Duke. Speaking of the KTM, Kartik loved sliding his knee around KTM’s Chakan test track as he rode the new-generation RC 200. Oh, wait, there’s more. Janak flew to Banglore to test ride the TVS Jupiter 125, and then to Delhi’s Buddh International Circuit to check out a certain Monster by Ducati. Also, back in Delhi Anubhav had a go at Honda’s CBR650R superbike. Finally, we ended the issue with one glorious morning ride as Kartik and Janak rode Harley-Davidson’s old-school V-twin giants — the Road Glide Special and the Road King. Here’s hoping that you folks have a great time relishing our November issue. Cheers!
