Volvo Car India has launched the new Volvo XC40 Recharge electric SUV at Rs 55.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric SUV will be the first luxury electric vehicle to be assembled in India. While deliveries are slated to commence in October, bookings for the same will begin on the company’s official website for a token amount of Rs 50,000.
The XC40 Recharge is built on the same Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform as the regular XC40.
