Toyota Kirloskar Motor has added a new flavour to its flagship sedan with the launch of the Camry Sprint Edition in India. Priced at ₹48.50 lakh (ex-showroom), this special edition focuses on style and exclusivity while retaining the tried-and-tested hybrid powertrain underneath.

The Camry Sprint Edition stands out with a dual-tone treatment that gives it a sportier edge. The bonnet, roof and boot lid are finished in matte black, paired with matching alloy wheels. A sharper body kit for the front and rear bumpers, along with a discreet rear spoiler, further enhances its road presence. Buyers can choose from five dual-tone combinations, including striking options such as Emotional Red with Matte Black and Platinum White Pearl with Matte Black.

Step inside, and the changes are subtle but noticeable. The Sprint Edition adds door warning lamps and ambient lighting, both fitted by authorised dealers. Beyond that, the cabin carries over all the equipment that makes the Camry a tech-rich sedan. A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, nine-speaker JBL audio, three-zone climate control, head-up display, electric sunroof and 10-way power-adjustable seats for both driver and passenger are all part of the package. Safety remains a strong focus too, with Toyota’s Safety Sense 3.0 suite offering Level 2 ADAS features, nine airbags and a 360-degree camera system.

Under the skin, nothing changes, and that’s no bad thing. The Camry Sprint Edition continues with the familiar 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid setup paired with an e-CVT gearbox. The combined output stands at 230 bhp, while efficiency remains one of its biggest draws, with Toyota claiming a fuel efficiency of 25.49 kmpl.

What the Sprint Edition really does is add an extra layer of style to an already feature-loaded, efficient and safe sedan. For buyers who want the Camry’s hybrid sophistication with a bolder look, this special edition offers just that, without altering the core formula.
