Skoda Auto India has launched the highly anticipated 2025 Octavia RS, with the entire first allocation of 100 units already sold out. Priced at ₹49.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the performance sedan is set to begin customer deliveries on November 6th.
The model is offered in a single, fully-loaded variant featuring a potent 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine. This powertrain generates 261bhp and 37.72 kgm of torque, channeled through a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, enabling a 0-100 kph sprint in just 6.4 seconds.

Bookings, which opened on October 6th with a ₹2.5 lakh deposit, were quickly filled, underscoring the model’s appeal. The RS is available in five distinctive colours: Velvet Red, Race Blue, Magic Black, Candy White, and Mamba Green.
The cabin is a tech-laden, sporty environment featuring a 12.9-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, and premium sport front seats with massage, heating, and cooling functions. While it boasts a 360-degree camera and an electric tailgate, the RS notably forgoes a sunroof and adaptive chassis control (DCC).
