ASkoda Auto India has unveiled the Kushaq facelift in India, with updates to its design, feature list and powertrain options. Bookings are open at ₹15,000 on Škoda Auto India’s official website, and deliveries will begin by the end of March 2026. Prices are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The Kushaq facelift now comes with styling changes inspired by Skoda’s Modern Solid design language. It gets an all-new grille with chrome ribs and an illuminated light bar, updated LED headlamps, front parking sensors, and LED fog lamps. At the rear, the midsize SUV receives connected taillights with sequential turn indicators, along with illuminated Skoda lettering bridging the taillights. Skoda has also introduced three new colours Shimla Green, Steel Grey and Cherry Red. The sportier Monte Carlo variant is also available right from launch.
On the powertrain side, the Kushaq facelift introduces a segment-first 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission, paired with the 1.0-litre TSI engine that produces 114 bhp and 18.15 kgm. This engine is also offered with a 6-speed manual. The 1.5-litre TSI continues with 148 bhp and 25.49 kgm, paired with the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and now gets disc brakes on all four wheels. The SUV retains 188 mm of maximum ground clearance.
Inside the cabin, the Kushaq gets a panoramic sunroof for the first time with the updaye and brings in a segment-first rear seat massage function. It also gets dual-colour ambient lighting, while continuing with features like ventilated front seats with 6-way electric adjustment, a sound system with six speakers and a subwoofer, and 491 litres of boot space that expands to 1,405 litres with the rear seats folded down. Higher variants get a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, while mid variants come with an 8-inch unit. The SUV also features a 10.1-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with an advanced voice assistant powered by Google Automotive AI Agent.
Skoda has also made several features standard from the base variant, including alloy wheels, electric sunroof, automatic AC, auto wipers, rear wiper and defogger, auto-dimming IRVM, and LED headlamps and taillamps. On the safety front, the facelifted Kushaq continues with its 5-star Global NCAP rating, offering six airbags and over 25 active and passive safety features as standard, going up to 40 safety features on the top-end variant.
Upon launch, the updated Kushaq will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Victoris and Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, Tata Sierra, and MG Astor.
