Porsche India has launched a new, more sinister-looking variant of its all-electric sports sedan—the Taycan 4S Black Edition, priced at ₹2.07 crore (ex-showroom). This makes it ₹11 lakh more expensive than the standard Taycan 4S, and the premium is justified by an array of cosmetic enhancements and exclusive interior touches that set it apart from the regular version.
True to its name, the Taycan 4S Black Edition gets an all-black treatment that amplifies its aggressive character. Visually, the Black Edition is distinguished by high-gloss black accents on the front bumper, side skirts, rear diffuser, window surrounds, mirror caps, and badging. Even the headlamp housings get a smoked effect, further adding to the stealthy look. Completing the package are 21-inch aero wheels, also finished in gloss black, giving the Taycan a bold stance.

Adding a touch of drama, optional puddle lamps are available, which project the Porsche logo onto the ground when the doors are opened.
Inside, the Black Edition introduces exclusive interior trims, including two black-themed Race-Tex (Alcantara and leatherette) upholstery options, alongside two full monotone leather finishes. These details bring a more focused, premium feel to the cabin while maintaining the tech-laden layout of the standard 4S.
Features remain unchanged, meaning buyers still get a panoramic glass roof, 14-way powered front seats, four-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, ADAS driver-assist features, and a Bose premium sound system, among others.
Mechanically, the Taycan 4S Black Edition remains identical to its donor car. It packs a dual-motor AWD setup, producing 590 bhp and 72.39 kgm of torque, paired with the same 105kWh (gross) battery pack. The result? A 0–100kph time of just 3.7 seconds and support for ultra-fast 320kW DC charging, offering quick top-ups and minimal downtime.
While the Black Edition comes with a strong visual identity, buyers can still personalise their Taycan from a choice of 13 paint shades. Optional premium colours are available, but at a steep price—ranging from ₹5.11 lakh to ₹32.18 lakh, depending on the finish.
With its sharp aesthetics and electrifying performance, the Taycan 4S Black Edition offers an enticing upgrade for those seeking a stealthier, more exclusive Porsche EV.
