In the month of July, MG launched the extended version of the Hector called the Hector Plus. It offered captain seats in the middle row and a bench for the third row, making it a 6-seater. We had a go at it, you can read all about it here. Finally, MG will be launching the 7-seater version of it in January 2021.
It will most likely feature a bench in the middle row as opposed to captain seats found in the 6-seater version. The 7-seater Hector Plus variant will face stiff competition from the popular Toyota Innova Crysta and the upcoming Hyundai Creta 7-seater as well. In addition to this new version, MG will also be undertaking a price revision across its product range due to the increase in miscellaneous costs. This will amount to an estimated increase of 3 percent in price depending on the model and it will be applicable from 1st January 2021.
