JSW MG Motor India has officially introduced the Cyberster, its first electric roadster, to the Indian market with an attractive introductory price of ₹72.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for early reservations, while new bookings will start at ₹74.99 lakh. The company has announced that deliveries for this head-turning convertible will begin on August 10, 2025, and will be available exclusively through MG Select, the brand’s premium retail channel designed for high-end vehicles.
The Cyberster presents a stunning fusion of retro-inspired roadster design and futuristic EV technology. Its dramatic silhouette features electric scissor doors that add to its theatrical presence, combined with a sleek soft-top roof that enhances its classic roadster appeal. The aerodynamic design achieves an impressive 0.269 drag coefficient, complemented by signature LED lighting, active aerodynamic elements, and a distinctive Kammback-style rear end. The roadster rides on eye-catching 20-inch staggered alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance Pirelli P-Zero tyres.

Performance-wise, the Cyberster establishes itself as the most powerful MG ever produced. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system generates an astonishing 510 bhp and 73.92 kgm of torque, enabling breathtaking acceleration from 0-100 kph in just 3.2 seconds. Power comes from an innovative 77kWh ultra-thin battery pack measuring just 110mm thick – currently the slimmest in the industry – which delivers an MIDC-certified range of 580km on a single charge. The chassis benefits from input by ex-Formula 1 engineer Marco Fainello, featuring double wishbone suspension and perfect 50:50 weight distribution for exceptional handling dynamics.
Inside the cabin, drivers are greeted by a high-tech, driver-focused environment. A wraparound cockpit design incorporates a sophisticated triple-screen interface, including a 10.25-inch central touchscreen flanked by two 7-inch displays for critical driving information. Premium materials abound, with vegan leather and Dinamica suede upholstery, while amenities include dual-zone climate control, steering-mounted paddle shifters for regenerative braking adjustment, and a premium BOSE audio system with active noise cancellation.
Safety has been a paramount consideration in the Cyberster’s development. The roadster features a robust high-strength H-shaped cradle structure that provides exceptional rollover protection, evidenced by its impressive Static Stability Factor of 1.83. Advanced safety systems include Level 2 ADAS capabilities, a real-time Driver Monitoring System, multiple airbags, and electronic stability control. Stopping power comes from high-performance Brembo 4-piston brake calipers that can bring the car to a halt from 100 kph in just 33 meters.
Buyers can choose from four striking dual-tone color combinations: Nuclear Yellow with Black Roof, Flare Red with Black Roof, Andes Grey with Red Roof, and Modern Beige with Red Roof. The purchase package includes a 3.3kW portable charger and a 7.4kW wall box charger with standard home installation. MG backs the vehicle with a lifetime warranty on the high-voltage battery for the first owner, along with a 3-year/unlimited kilometer vehicle warranty.
