Mercedes-Benz has reignited India’s performance car segment with the launch of the AMG GT 63 and GT 63 Pro, priced at ₹3 crore and ₹3.65 crore (ex-showroom), respectively. Marking the return of the two-door AMG GT after nearly three years, these models bring significant upgrades in power, size, and technology. Bookings for both variants are now open, with deliveries scheduled to begin in December 2025 (GT 63) and January 2026 (GT 63 Pro).
The AMG GT 63 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, churning out 585 bhp and 81.57 kgm of torque. Paired with an AMG-tuned 9-speed automatic transmission and a 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system (with rear-wheel bias), it rockets from 0-100 kph in just 3.3 seconds and achieves a top speed of 315 kph—making it even faster than the previous GT R.

For those craving more, the GT 63 Pro takes performance up a notch. The same V8 engine is tuned to deliver 612 bhp and 86.67 kgm, complemented by larger brakes, enhanced aerodynamics, and a sportier design for improved downforce and cooling.
Adding to the allure, Mercedes is introducing the GT 63 Pro Motorsport Collector’s Edition in extremely limited numbers. While mechanically identical to the Pro, this variant boasts a Formula 1-inspired livery and exclusive interior finishes, appealing to hardcore enthusiasts and collectors.
The return of the AMG GT to India reinforces Mercedes-AMG’s dominance in the high-performance luxury segment. With blistering acceleration, cutting-edge tech, and track-focused enhancements in the Pro variant, these models cater to drivers seeking both prestige and adrenaline.
As India’s appetite for ultra-high-performance cars grows, the GT 63 and GT 63 Pro set a new benchmark—proving that luxury and raw power can coexist seamlessly. Would you pick the standard GT 63 or go all out with the Pro?
