Do you expect your Land Rover to stand out from the crowd? The Land Rover Discovery Metropolitan Edition will do the job for you. This Discovery is based on the R-Dynamic HSE trim, but it will set you back by Rs 1.26 crore (ex-showroom). Well, you do get quite a few changes to set the Metropolitan Edition apart from the standard Discovery.

The new top-of-the-line Metropolitan Edition comes equipped with a slew of aesthetic and interior modifications. It also incorporates a Bright Atlas grille design and the Discovery script into the purposeful R-Dynamic HSE specification. Lower bumper inserts in Hakuba Silver, 20-inch alloys painted in satin dark grey, black brake callipers, a sliding front sunroof and a fixed rear panoramic roof round out the package.

Inside, the Metropolitan Edition includes a 12.3-inch interactive driver display, wireless charging with phone signal booster, front cooler compartment, four-zone climate control and heated steering wheel as standard features. It also has heated and cooled rear seats, as well as powered seat reclining and clever seat folding technology. Moreover, it even has Land Rover’s sophisticated Cabin Air Purification with PM2.5 air filtration, which monitors air quality inside and filters out dangerous particulates for a cleaner interior environment. Plus, the Titanium Mesh trim does add to its cabin’s appeal.

Land Rover Discover Metropolitan Edition

The Discovery Metropolitan Edition gets a choice of two powertrains. If horsepower’s that you desire, then the 355-bhp 3.0-litre six-cylinder P360 Ingenium petrol engine with 50.98 kgm of torque should be your pick. Or you can opt for the torquey 296-bhp D300 Ingenium diesel engine that produces 66.28 kgm. Want to know how we felt driving the Discovery? Read all about it here.
