It makes sense for Jaguars to be on the prowl. Well, that’s what Jaguar India did when it covertly launched the updated XF. Starting from Rs 71.60 lakh (ex-showroom), this facelift gets minor cosmetic changes and is only available in R-Dynamic S trim. This time, the 2.0-litre diesel mill makes a comeback with mild-hybrid technology. Plus, the good thing about this Jag is that it looks properly aggressive than before!

We really like how this facelift gets a larger grille and a new design pattern. Even the LED headlamps have been revised and the cool-looking dual J-shaped LED DRLs definitely makes the Jag bolder than before. The rear also gets a few changes like the restyle bumper that now get bigger air inlets.

Inside, there’s plenty of tech and features that you will now be acquainted with all the new Jags. The large 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity is its latest addition. Along with features like a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging pad, a PM2.5 air purifier, heated and cooled front seats, head-up display, new gear shift design, to name a few.

As mentioned earlier, the updated XF now gets the 201-bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine with mild-hybrid tech and produces 45.88 kgm of torque. While the 247-bhp 2.0-litre petrol remains unchanged with 37.21 kgm of torque. In both the engines, power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed auto ‘box. The petrol XF will set you back by Rs 71.6 lakh, and the diesel one by Rs 76 lakh (all prices ex-India).
