Hyundai’s blockbuster Creta SUV has completed an impressive 10-year journey in India, solidifying its position as one of the country’s most successful automotive nameplates. Since its market debut in 2015, Hyundai has delivered over 12 lakh Creta units to Indian customers, a remarkable achievement that underscores its enduring popularity.

The Creta’s evolution mirrors changing consumer preferences over the past decade. The first-generation model (2015-2020) established new benchmarks in the compact SUV segment, while its successor (2020-2024) elevated the game with contemporary styling and enhanced technology. Hyundai’s continuous innovation culminated in the third-generation Creta launched in January 2024, featuring sharper design language, a completely redesigned cabin, and segment-first Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
