Launched in March this year, the Honda WR-V appears to be on a strong start, with more than 12,000 bookings received for it. Not just that, the company managed to sell 3266 units of the same, in April. With that, it becomes the second best-selling car, apart from the City, during the same period. Same goes for the bookings, as the City garnered over 25,000 of those since its launch in February.
At 14,922 units in total, the company registered a growth of 38.1 per cent, with respect to sales made in April 2016 (10,486 units). Out of these, apart from the above mentioned figure for the WR-V, the City accounted for 5,948 units, the Amaze for 2,029 units, the Jazz for 2,081 units, and the rest for the BR-V, Brio, CR-V, and Accord Hybrid. Honda also exported 442 vehicles.
