To be showcased at the 2016 SEMA (the custom car show where nothing’s outrageously big enough; we love it), the Santa Fe Concept is the Santa Fe of off-roaders’ dreams. In collaboration with Rockstar Performance Garage, Hyundai Motor America have built this serious off-roader that promises to go anywhere. Apart from looking undeniably cool…
Off went the dapper style of the regular Santa Fe, and in came a blacked-out styling, humungous wheels, crazy livery, and of course an all-new image. Delve deeper into the technical stuff and you’ll learn that it’s running a 3.3-litre V6 engine, has an AEM cold air intake, Mishimoto cooling system, nitrous-oxide injection system, 35-inch off-road tyres mounted on 17-inch wheels. There’s a Magnaflow exhaust, a new, custom-made suspension system, new R1 brakes, a WARN inch, rock sliders and new bumpers. And LED light bars.
Since it’s going to be a show car, there’s a Kicker audio system, a custom leather interior by Roadwire, and uprated batteries.
The company has just released one photo, keeping other details (including power figures) unannounced until the show. SEMA will take place in November (1st to 4th), and expect to see more such exhibits.
