The newest Audi to get a mid-cycle update is the Q5 and this time around, it brings a sporty appeal to the table with a dash of Audi’s usual technological prowess.

The car gets a wider octagonal grille, new signature LED DRLs and more ground clearance. The new Q5 is 19 mm longer, too. It comes with 17-inch wheels standard, with optional 21-inch on offer as well.

At the rear, the Q5 comes with new digital OLED tail-lights. These not only look absolutely brilliant, but they also contribute to the car’s safety. When stationary, the OLED tail-lights will light up brighter when the sensors any objects within two-metres from the car. You also get a sporty faux-diffuser on the bumper to round out the aesthetic.

Inside, it gets Audi’s third-generation MMI system and a 10.1-inch touch display. Live traffic and navigation updates will be available over-the-air via a cell-data bundle.

Under the hood, the Q5 packs 201 bhp and 40.78 kgm of peak torque from its 2.0-litre four-cylinder TDI engine.

If the regular Q5 doesn’t suit your style, there’s a special edition model — the Edition One — that takes it a notch higher. This edition one will get the blacked-out treatment on the roof and ORVMs, 19-inch alloys with red brake callipers and four exclusive colours.
