The Aston Martin Vantage has lived multiple lives, but what we are going to be looking at is of utmost importance. The 2025 Vantage has not only gained extra firepower, but it also gets improved tuning, nicer interiors, updated suspension bits, and more.
Beginning with what’s under the hood; while it is still a V8 unit, the output figures have gone up to 655 bhp and 81.57 kgm of torque, which is about 152 bhp and 11.72 kgm more than before. This jump has been achieved via extensive tuning by the engineers, using modified cam profiles, optimised compressions ratios, larger turbos, and enhanced cooling.
The body structure is also said to have been enhanced. The front body cross-member has been repositioned and re-engineered for an enhanced on and off-centre steering feel. The rear suspension towers also receive reinforcements, which has made the rear-end of the car stiffer by 29 per cent under load. Furthemore, the 2025 Vantage benefits from adaptive dampers, while carbon ceramic brakes can be specced as an option. The Vantage rides on 21-inch forged alloy rims, wearing bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 rubber.
On the inside, it follows the DB12 with a similar layout, featuring a 10.25-inch touch screen compatible with both CarPlay and Android Auto, while also retaining tactile buttons for chassis settings, ESP, exhaust settings, lane assist, and parking assistant among other things. Features-wise, you get a new launch control system, an electronic rear differential, adjustable traction control and more. The Bowers & Wilkins audio system is also available as an option.
Can we expect the 2025 Vantage to be sold here? While Aston Martin hasn’t said anything explicitly, we can expect the Vantage to follow the DB12 here in a few months’ time.
