India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated its first set of three new ‘Blue Square’ outlets in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The three showrooms, ‘Swastik Auto’ in Ulhasnagar, ‘Dolphin Auto’ in Saki Naka, Mumbai, and ‘AIMS Yamaha’ in Manpada, Thane are designed to offer end-to-end sales, service, and spares support.
While exclusive to India at the moment, Yamaha’s ‘Blue Square’ showrooms are designed to create a space for customers to connect with the ethos of the brand. According to Yamaha, ‘Blue Square’ is designed to define its legacy in global motorsports with ‘Blue’ characterizing the brand’s racing DNA and ‘Square’ defining an entry into the world of Yamaha.
‘As a part of ‘The Call of the Blue’ brand campaign, Yamaha is excited to announce the launch of 3 new Blue Square showrooms in Mumbai. Being the business capital of India, Mumbai is extremely important for Yamaha and these premium outlets will pave the way for building a stronger reach in the region. Through these Blue Square showrooms, we want every customer to attain a sense of belonging to Yamaha’s rich heritage in international motorsports. These premium outlets will enable our customers to interact with the brand, acquire product information, and check out the range of Yamaha accessories and apparel, providing them with a unique buying and ownership experience,’ says Eishin Chihana, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies.
Along with the Aerox 155 that is exclusively sold through Blue Square, the premium outlets also offer other Yamaha motorcycles and scooters. Consumers can also find genuine accessories, apparel, and spare parts. The showrooms also serve as a platform for customers to be a part of Yamaha’s Blue Streaks rider community.
With the launch of these outlets, Yamaha currently has five Blue Square showrooms operational in Maharashtra. There are now 73 premium Blue Square showrooms across India, with a projection of 100 outlets by the end of the year.
