More from Motoring

Proceedings at the 2023 TVS Motosoul are coming to an end, but the bike maker said ‘hold on, we’ve got a little bit more for you.’ The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has received yet another update, receiving a set of features to compete against the Bajaj Pulsar N160. This updated Apache comes at a price tag of Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom).

The red alloy wheels are standard fitment

TVS has added dual-channel ABS and voice commands into the equipment list of the Apache RTR 160 4V. Aside from this, the Apache RTR 160 4V also gets a new Lightning Blue paint scheme, and along with that, you will also be able to buy it in a Matt Black paint scheme as well. However, TVS has kept the rest of the motorcycle unchanged from its previous upgrade, which means it retains the same set of mechanicals; a 159 cc single-cylinder engine with 17.4 bhp and 1.5 kgm of torque on offer. The chassis, suspension and braking setup also seems to have been retained.

The Apache RTE was also on display

That’s not the only news coming from Motosoul. Do you remember the race-spec Apache RTE that was showcased a few months ago? While we do know what hardware it gets, we can now finally share some key specifics. It produces 79 bhp of peak power, and it relies on Brembo 320 mm and 240 mm discs for stopping. The suspension comes from Ohlins, with FGRT 43 forks and a TTX36 monoshock. The rest of the details can be read here.
