Ultraviolette Automotive, an Electric Vehicle and battery technology manufacturer out of Bangalore has announced the rollout of a DC fast-charging network across India called UV Supernova.

Within this charging ecosystem, two 6 kW charging options called Supernova and a 12 kW unit known as Supernova Plus shall be offered. The Supernova, a 6 kW option features two 3 kW DC fast charging guns, while the 12 kW Supernova Plus comes with two 6 kW DC fast charging guns. The company has stated that these will go in hand with the option booster pack that is available with the F77.

In the initial phase, Ultraviolette has commenced with the deployment of over 100 Supernova and Supernova Plus DC Fast Charging stations, with 10 stations already operational in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. Situated along strategic locations along key motorcycling routes, including popular cafes and major highways.

Commenting on the launch of Ultraviolette Supernova charging stations, Mr Narayan Subramaniam, Co-Founder & CEO of Ultraviolette, stated that this debut of Ultraviolette Supernova charging stations marks a milestone in their commitment to providing seamless and user-friendly charging infrastructure for customers.

The dual-gun configuration in the 6 kW and 12 kW stations ensures swift and effective charging, aligning with their commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology.
