More from Motoring

Back in February, Ola Electric gave its customers a nice Valentine’s surprise, but this time it’s not about that. The Ola S1 X lineup has become even more affordable than before, and the manufacturer also announced new prices for the S1 Air, S1 Pro, and S1 X+.

The Ola S1 X can be had with three different battery configurations; the 2 kWh battery pack variant gets a price drop of Rs 10,000, and now costs Rs 69,999, while the 3 kWh version can be had from Rs 84,999, costing Rs 5,000 lesser than before. Finally, the 4 kWh battery pack variant is now priced at Rs 99,999 (all prices ex-showroom), which is Rs 10,000 lesser than before.

Unlike the other S1 models, the S1 X finally gets a physical key as standard. The S1 X is powered by a hub-mounted motor with 8 bhp on offer, and performance figures vary across different battery configurations. The 4 kWh and 3 kWh battery variants cover a claimed range of 190 km and 143 km respectively, while reaching a top speed of 90 kph. The 2 kWh variant claims to cover 90 km on a single charge and reaches a claimed top speed of 85 kph. Ola is also offering a complimentary 8 year/80,000 km battery warranty with no extra charge.

The rest of the Ola S1 lineup also receives new pricing

Ola Electric has also announced new prices for the rest of the S1 scooters; the S1 Pro can be had from Rs 1.24 lakh onwards, while the S1 Air and S1 X+ are now priced at Rs 1.04 lakh and Rs 84,999 lakh respectively (all prices ex-showroom).
