On the 15th of August, 2021, you’ll be able to pre-book the Simple One electric scooter, for a token amount of Rs 1,947 (we see what you did there, Simple Energy). From 5pm onwards on the day, you’ll be able to do so on the firm’s website, and the amount is refundable. For now, the One will be launched in 13 states across the country.
Simple Energy also dropped a few details about the scooter’s battery pack, which is a portable unit (nice move, it’ll make charging so much easier). Apparently the 4.8kWh battery will weigh just over 6 kg and will give you a range of 240 km in Eco mode. Other claimed figures are a 0-50 kph time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 100 kph. Features will include a touchscreen, navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. The Simple One will be priced between Rs 1.10 lakh and Rs 1.20 lakh, says the firm.
