Ahead of its launch on February 5th, 2025, the Ola Roadster X has been teased on social media. The Roadster X is poised to take on the crowded and ever-growing electric two-wheeler market after the global premiere showcased the motorcycle in all its futuristic glory.
The Roadster X is part of a comprehensive lineup from Ola Electric, which includes the Roadster and Roadster Pro models, with the X positioned as the entry-level offering. Ola has promised a powerhouse of performance with the Roadster X, boasting a peak power output of 14.75 bhp, a top speed of 124 kph, and an impressive 0-40 kph sprint in just 2.8 seconds. While these numbers were revealed at the unveil, it remains to be seen if they will hold true in the production model, with some speculation around the final specifications.
While we have seen multiple digital renders put up by the manufacturer on its website, the teaser shows a somewhat production-ready version. Ola is offering the Roadster X with three battery options: 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh, giving riders a range of choices to suit their needs. It’s expected that the Roadster range will be priced above the recently launched Ola S1X Gen 3, which starts at Rs 79,999 for a smaller 2 kWh battery pack.
Despite being the base model of the Roadster family, the Roadster X retains a sleek and edgy design, with LED headlights, a 4.3-inch LCD display, LED DRLs, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The motorcycle is built for performance and comfort with front disc brakes, telescopic front suspension, and dual shock absorbers at the rear.
