More from Motoring

India Bike Week is a festival dear to bikers across the country, and now, across borders too! Happening on the 6th and 7th of December 2024, we’ll see riders converging in Goa for the 11th edition. A decade into it, one of India’s biggest biking festivals gears up for ‘The Next Chapter’ — a vibrant look and a new spatial approach designed to welcome everyone under its rallying cry: Everyone as One.

‘So this year at the 11th India Bike Week, we’re entering a new decade, celebrating all of India’s bikers – boys, girls, men and women and their shared love of motorcycling. In 2024, IBW is absolutely ‘Everyone as One’. We are growing IBW into another decade with our Gold Sponsor Gulf Syntrac – for two days of six adrenaline-pumping race tracks, stellar music across 2 stages including our all-new NXS Music Festival Stage, iconic overlanding legends like Elspeth Beard – the first British woman to circumnavigate the world on a bike in 1982 at the Big Trip Stage, also featuring a brand-new overlanding Expo. To promote grassroots racing in India, along with our long-standing partner Harley-Davidson India, we’re introducing a one-make Flat Track Race format debuting at IBW with the highest ever total prize money of Rs 1 million!’ said Martin da Costa, CEO and Founder of Seventy EMG.

India Bike Week 2022

To commemorate the decade, there is going to be a custom Jameson sidecar motorcycle built by our friends at Bombay Custom Works. This motorcycle is up for grabs for one winner who will ride it away from IBW 2024. This year’s new highlight is the ‘IBW Flat Track Race’, in partnership with Harley-Davidson, a one-make race featuring Harley-Davidson X440 motorcycles custom-built by Rajputana Customs. Additionally, there will be other tracks like the Dirt Drag – a 200-foot, straight run with a few dirt-based obstacles, a gamified track with various challenges and Rat Race: a 2-wheel version of autocross. Better come prepared.
