On 9th July, motorcycle aficionados from all around the country will ride together to honour International Jawa-Yezdi Day. This famous yearly event honours the renowned Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles, which have won the hearts of motorcycle lovers for centuries. This much-anticipated event will occur throughout the country, with big events scheduled in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Pune, Chennai, and Jaipur.
The International Jawa-Yezdi Day strives to develop a sense of camaraderie and connection among like-minded individuals, in addition to commemorating motorbikes. It gives riders a place to share their experiences, memories, and expertise while also fostering lifetime friendships within the global Jawa and Yezdi community. Local motorbike clubs, organisations and communities will organise several activities and gatherings to commemorate this historic occasion, from bustling urban centres to breathtaking countryside locales.
Last year’s International Jawa-Yezdi Day featured a display of rare and well-preserved Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles from various eras. Owners of these historic motorcycles proudly showcased the rarest and most valuable models, like the Jawa Type 353, Jawa 250 Perak, 1972 Jawa 250, Yezdi Model B, and others, at the event. Over 1500 antique Jawas and Yezdis, as well as newer versions, formed part of motorcycle history. Vintage motorcycle exhibitions, group rides, technical workshops and interactive meetings with industry experts are among the exciting events planned for participants.
