Classic Legends has launched the 2023 iteration of the Jawa 42 and the Yezdi Roadster in India. While the 42 has been priced at Rs 1.98 lakh, the Roadster demands Rs 2.09 lakh (both ex-showroom Delhi). These bikes come with a bunch of changes including ergonomic and mechanical updates. 
Yezdi Roadster: Changes That Matter
The Yezdi Roadster has received a comprehensive update for 2023. Apart from the new colour schemes, the bike now comes with heavily revised ergonomics. This includes a taller handlebar and footpegs that have been moved ahead by 155 mm which should make it a more relaxed machine for long rides. Interestingly, the company will also have the one with the older ergos on sale.
The Yezdi Roadster gets some aesthetic updates as well like the diamond-cut alloy wheels, redesigned exhaust muffler and conventional mirrors instead of the bar-end ones. There are no mechanical changes to the 334cc single-cylinder engine and it continues to produce 29.29 bhp and 2.95 kgm.
Jawa 42 Dual Tone: Small Yet Significant Changes
The Jawa 42 too comes with its fair share of updates. For starters, the fuel tank shape has been changed, and so have the fenders. Furthermore, the bike features a new seat, clear lens indicators, and diamond-cut alloy wheels. And just like the Roadster, this one too comes with conventional mirrors.
But just like the Roadster, the 42 doesn’t get any updates to the engine and continues with the same 294.7cc liquid-cooled mill producing 26.9 bhp and 2.75 kgm.
Both of these motorcycles have received their first set of big updates since their launch, and this should help Classic Legends get more customers, too. But with the new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and the Triumph Speed 400 gaining popularity, Classic Legends have some serious work cut out for them.
