Hero holds a strong position in the commuter market, being the manufacturer of choice for many Indian families. The Glamour 125, one of their most popular bikes, sold nearly 5.20 lakh units in September 2023 alone. The 2024 version now features enhancements in safety, convenience, and aesthetics with a price increase. Here is what you should know.
The 2024 Glamour 125 is equipped with an air-cooled, 4-stroke engine that produces 10.7 bhp at 7500 rpm and 1.08 kgm of torque at 6000 rpm. Weighing approximately 123 kg in the disc variant, it features telescopic front forks and five-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers. The bike comes to a stop with both disc and drum brakes at the front and rear respectively. With a 10-litre fuel tank, it remains suited for commuter use.
The 2024 Glamour 125 retains a modern look with a new LED headlamp supported by a DC system, now standard across all variants. Additionally, the bike now includes hazard lights and a start-kill engine switch, both features uncommon in the current 125cc segment.
The updated model also introduces a new Black Metallic Silver colour option, alongside existing colours like Candy Blazing Red, Black Sports Red, and Black Techno Blue.
The updated Glamour 125 has seen a price increase of Rs 1,000. The Drum variant is now priced at Rs 83,598, while the Disc variant costs Rs 87,598 (both prices are ex-showroom Delhi).
