A week after Indian Independence Day, Harley-Davidson has unveiled fresh colour options for the X440, paying tribute to the spirit of Independence. This launch marks a conclusion to the Independence-themed two-wheeler variants from manufacturers across India, including the TVS iQube Celebration Edition.

The Harley-Davidson X440 now comes in new colours: the mid variant is available in mustard and silver, while the S variant boasts an eye-catching orange, celebrating Indian Independence.

Additionally, the X440 badge receives an update. It now features a sharp white outline and background, with a Harley-Davidson decal in a symmetrical arrangement against a blackish-grey backdrop.

There is, however, a price adjustment of Rs 500 for these new colours. The Vivid variant is priced at Rs 2.59 lakh, while the S variant is available for Rs 2.79 lakh, both ex-showroom.

The Harley-Davidson X440, the result of a collaboration between the American cruiser giant and Hero MotoCorp, is powered by a single-cylinder 440cc engine delivering 27 bhp and 3.8 kgm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed transmission and features upside-down forks and twin shock absorbers. Customers can choose between wire-spoke and alloy wheels, with the latter available on the Vivid and S variants.
