It’s good news if you were planning on buying the Bajaj Dominar 250 anytime soon. That’s because the Chakan-based two-wheeler manufacturer has slashed the prices of the Dominar 250 by Rs 16,500. With the updated pricing, the motorcycle now retails at Rs 1.54 lakh, ex-showroom, making it more affordable than its launching price of Rs 1.6 lakh in March 2020.
While Bajaj had hiked the prices of its motorcycles on multiple occasions earlier, the Dominar 250 has seen the highest sticker price of Rs 1.71 lakh. With the new pricing, the quarter-litre sports tourer now costs Rs 60,000 less than its elder sibling, the Dominar 400, and Rs 74,500 compared to the KTM 250 Duke, with which it shares its powertrain components.
With the new pricing, the Bajaj Dominar 250 is now positioned well in a competitive space in the 250cc segment, where it rivals the Yamaha FZ25 and the Suzuki Gixxer 250.
