More from Motoring

It seems like a long time ago, but towards the end of last year, Jawa had launched its much awaited bobber, the Jawa Perak. It will finally start delivering customer bikes later this month.

The Perak with its short fenders, chopped exhaust and floating seat, is distinctively a bobber. The stealth matte black finish only adds to that appeal.

Powering the Perak is a 334 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder which makes 30.22 bhp and 3.34 kg-m. That’s a marginal increase in power and torque of 0.22 bhp and 0.14 kg-m respectively. The team at Jawa has been hard at work even through this lockdown to make this happen. Even the chassis has been tweaked with an all-new swingarm and a strengthened frame to improve its overall rigidity.

The Jawa Perak is priced at Rs 1.95 lakh, ex-showroom, and is a great way to stand out from the crowd.
