On 25th June 2024, it was announced that Marco Bezzecchi agreed to a multi-year contract with Aprilia Racing, set to begin from the 2025 season onwards. This marks a significant move for the Noale-based manufacturer, reinstating an Italian rider in the premier class following Lorenzo Savadori’s MotoGP debut in 2020.
The return of an Italian rider holds considerable importance for Aprilia Racing. The 2025 team lineup will feature Marco Bezzecchi alongside Jorge Martín Almoguera, forming a partnership aimed at elevating Aprilia to the forefront of MotoGP.
