Benelli has launched the BS6-compliant TRK 502 with several subtle yet key updates. Apart from updating the 499.6cc, parallel-twin engine, which produces the same amount of power and torque as before, the company has also made the part-digital instrument cluster backlit. Benelli has also changed the switchgear, which looks a lot more premium than before. Also, that too is now backlit. The switches used on the TRK 502 have also been swapped out for more premium ones, this time around.
Other than that, the handguards have been changed, larger mirrors have been used with a slightly different texture and the front mudguard comes gets the same finish as the body of the TRK 502. In case you’re wondering where the TRK 502X, well, we are too. Jokes apart, the 502X variant should return at some point in the future. Most importantly, the TRK 502 is Rs 30,000 lesser than before, bringing the price to Rs 4.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). If you opt for the Pure White and Benelli Red paint job, that’s an extra Rs 10,000.
Furthermore, Benelli has opened bookings for BS6 TRK 502, and interested parties can book the ADV by putting down a deposit of Rs 10,000. Also, do note that the aforementioned prices are introductory, and will increase in the future. For extra peace of mind, the TRK 502 comes with a three-year, unlimited kilometres warranty. What do you think of this Italian ADV, would you choose it over the Suzuki V-Strom 650 or even the Kawasaki Versys 650?
