BMW Motorrad has pulled the wraps off the 2025 C 400 GT and the C 400 X, and the updates are… well, practical. While the GT variant has been on sale in India, the Bavarian giant has kept the rugged X variant off our shores.

With this update, both the models receive fresh paint jobs and decals. Both versions now also gain 3 litres more underseat storage. And the GT has an additional 12-litre pocket at the front for more convenience. However, the highlight of the update is the addition of electronics like traction control and motor-slip regulation. Furthermore, for the C 400 GT, BMW Motorrad has even added lean sensitivity for the ABS and traction control.

The 350cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivers 33 bhp and 3.56 kgm has remained unchanged. Even the underpinnings have been carried over from the previous iteration.

BMW’s maxi-scooter was priced at Rs 11.25 lakh (ex-showroom), and when this updated version arrives, it may demand a slight premium. But now that BMW has taken bold steps with the debut of the CE-04 and CE-02, the C 400 X should be a good addition to the Indian lineup.
