More from Motoring

Classic Legends has finally launched the updated version of the Adventure. The 2024 model retails at Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards which, interestingly, is Rs 6,000 more affordable than its predecessor.

The most obvious change is the updated design. The company has moved away from the Himalayan-like luggage rack on the tank for a more compact design. That is not only making a difference visually, but is also claimed to be lighter by 8 kg. Furthermore, the new sump guard is bigger and should offer better protection.

The 2024 Yezdi Adventure benefits from minor mechanical changes, too. Though the 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine continues to do its duty on the new model, it has been retuned for better acceleration and smoother ride experience. The performance numbers remain unchanged at 29.19 bhp and 3.014 kgm.

Another big change is the new exhaust routing that goes from under the engine, yet offers a good 220-mm ground clearance. Classic Legends has made no changes to the suspension, brakes or the tyres. That said, with the updated engine and less weight, the ride experience should be different.

At Rs 2.10 lakh, the 2024 Yezdi Adventure is priced similar to the Suzuki V-Strom SX (Rs 2.11 lakh) and the Royal Enfield Scram 411 (Rs 2.12 lakh). In fact, even the Adventure’s top model, which retails at Rs 2.20 lakh, is Rs 28,000 cheaper than the KTM 250 Adventure.
