As far as numbers go, 26 isn’t really a special one except, perhaps, for the fact that it arrives right after 25. Last year, for our 25th anniversary, we celebrated that milestone for 12 months straight with one special issue after another. That. Is. A. Lot. Of. Work. So, this time around, we thought we’d take it easy. No, there aren’t 26 issue specials inside; we still haven’t completely recovered from the 25 stories we put together for last year’s anniversary issue. But what you will find plenty of are the things that make us tick. Machines, people, stories and memories. Like riding a bike onto a crumbling abandoned pier for a photograph and a moment of contemplation. Only to realise that old and narrow piers weren’t really designed to turn motorcycles around. Oh, well.
