Each Lamborghini that’s built at the Sant’Agata Bolognese plant in Italy is special, but now and then the Italian marque decides to spice things up a bit. Say hello to the latest special edition from Lamborghini: the Temerario Tettonero. What it is is essentially a two-tone version of the Temerario, but with the customisation options dialled up to 11.
Tettonero literally translates to Black Roof in English, and that’s what you get with this special edition of the Temerario. In addition to the blacked-out roof, it also gets blacked-out accents on the bonnet, front splitter, rear diffuser, ORVMs, alloy wheels, and the spoiler. While the launch edition of the Tettonero is based on the Giallo Inti (a Yellow), the Temerario Tettonero can also be had in Arancio Xanto (Orange), Blu Cepheus (Blue), Verde Scandal (Green), and Viola Pasifae (Purple).
Inside, the Tettonero comes with Nero Ade (Black) upholstery with Grigio Octans (Grey) contrast stitching. However, there’s also the option to get the contrast stitching matched to the exterior colour of the Temerario. The panel behind the seats will also get a two-tone silhouette of the Temerario in colour-matched stitching, and a dedicated Matte Carbon plaque on the driver’s side identifies the limited-edition nature of the Tettonero.
Powering the Tettonero is the same powertrain as the standard Temerario — a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 paired with three electric motors. Combined, it produces 907 bhp and the new V8 can rev up to 10,000 rpm. While Lamborghini claims it is a limited edition version, it hasn’t specified how many units it’ll make of the Tettonero.
