The story behind one of Italy’s most iconic performance-car brands is heading to the big screen with Maserati: The Brothers. The first trailer for the upcoming biographical drama offers a glimpse into the family, racing and ambition that helped create the legendary Trident badge.
Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Bobby Moresco, the film follows the Maserati brothers as they go from a small workshop in Bologna to major players in the world of motorsport. Their story is one of engineering ambition, family bonds and fierce competition during the early years of European racing.
The movie boasts an impressive Hollywood cast, with Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, Andy Garcia and Jessica Alba among the stars. Michele Morrone plays Alfieri Maserati, while Salvatore Esposito portrays Bindo Maserati and Lorenzo De Moor plays Carlo Maserati. Pacino and Hopkins take on the roles of influential figures who helped support and finance the Maserati family’s ambitions.
However, Maserati: The Brothers promises to be more than a film about fast cars. The trailer points towards a story filled with family rivalries, financial struggles and the determination of the Maserati brothers to establish themselves in an increasingly competitive industry.
