More from Motoring

Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini first showcased its newest supercar, the Temerario, back in August 2024. Now, just eight months after its global debut, the Temerario is set to arrive in India, with prices set to be announced on 30 April 2025. The successor to the Huracan will be powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors.

Powertrain

While Lamborghini is ditching the naturally aspirated V10 from the Huracan, the Temerario, powered by its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 combined with three electric motors, produces a maximum of 920 bhp and has a maximum redline of 10,000 rpm. It puts out an impressive 81.57 kgm of torque, allowing the Temerario to achieve a 0-100km/h time of just 2.7 seconds and accelerate to a top speed of 343 kph. As for the transmission, the motor is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch (DCT) transmission. Three electric motors support the engine, two on the front axle and one integrated between the engine and the gearbox.

Design

Design-wise, the Lamborghini Temerario looks like an evolution of the Huracan it replaces. It gets a sleek headlamp setup, hexagon-shaped LED DRLs on the bumper, 20-inch alloy wheels, signature bull crest, Temerario badge on the side sills, hexagon-shaped fuel cap, centrally positioned exhaust with dual tips, a massive carbon-fibre diffuser, and an integrated ducktail spoiler. Moreover, owners will also have the option to opt for carbon-fibre wheels and lightweight interior components.

Additionally, Lamborghini states that Temerario’s new aerodynamics delivers a 118% increase in aerodynamic efficiency compared to the Huracan EVO. Opting for the Alleggerita package reduces the supercar’s overall weight by 12.65 kgs over the standard model.

Interiors

Like the Revuelto, the Temerario’s cabin features a large central touchscreen, a digital driver’s cluster, and a third display for the co-passenger. Lamborghini has also retained physical buttons on the steering wheel and the centre console for essential driving functions.

Tech

The Temerario features 13 driving modes, such as Citta, Strada, Sport, and Corsa, along with hybrid-specific modes such as Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance. A dedicated Drift mode offered on the Temerario will be Lamborghini’s first. Braking performance comes from large 410 mm discs with 10-piston calipers at the front and 390 mm discs with four-piston calipers at the rear. Additionally, the electric motors assist in regenerative braking to recharge the battery.
