Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML), the e-mobility arm of Greaves Cotton, has launched the Ampere Magnus Neo, an upgraded version of its Magnus electric scooter. According to the company, this new variant offers customers more style, power, strength, safety, and savings, as it builds on the legacy of the Magnus EX.

Set to make its debut at the Auto Expo 2025 in Delhi, the Magnus Neo is already proving its performance credentials, having completed a 2,000 km journey from Bengaluru to Delhi ahead of the event. The scooter’s robust design, combined with cutting-edge technology, is claimed to make it a compelling choice for eco-conscious commuters.

Kunnakavil Vijaya Kumar, Executive Director & CEO of GEML, emphasised the company’s commitment to expanding the reach of eco-friendly transportation. He stated, ‘The Magnus has earned the trust of customers, and the Magnus Neo represents our vision of making Har Gully Electric by offering a blend of style, performance, and sustainability for every commuter.’

Key features of the Magnus Neo include a premium dual-tone finish available in five vibrant colours, a top speed of 65 kph, and enhanced torque for a powerful, smooth ride. The scooter is also built for durability with 12-inch alloy wheels and an advanced LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery.

Designed for family riders, the Magnus Neo claims a certified range upwards of 100 km, three riding modes (including reverse mode), and a portable battery for easy charging. With a 5-year or 75,000 km battery warranty, customers can expect more savings in the long run.

Priced at Rs 79,999, the Magnus Neo also gets financing options available at 5.75% interest. It will be available nationwide from January 2025 onwards.
