Kia knows how to make headlines but, with the Syros, it’s about to dominate them. Kia’s next SUV, the Syros, has just made its global debut and, from what we’ve seen of it, it’s out-of-the-world, to say the least!

Among its many headline acts is, of course, its segment-first rear-seat slide, recline and ventilation function, which gives the Syros a rear-seat experience that’s truly extraordinary and unprecedented.

The Kia Syros, positioned between Kia’s popular and celebrated Sonet and Seltos SUVs, is based on the reinforced K1 platform, which ensures not only superior structural integrity but also offers enhanced crash protection and stability. The Syros’ admirable armour also sees it being equipped with Level 2 ADAS with 16 autonomous safety features, including Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, 360 Degree Camera with Blind View Monitor and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go.

In addition to this, the Syros also features Kia’s Robust 20 Hi-Safety Package as standard, which consists of Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist control, six airbags, Vehicle Stability Management, Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold, among other features, which ensures maximum protection for, both, the driver and passengers. As you’d expect, Kia hasn’t stopped there!

The Syros features what it calls a Connected Car Navigation Cockpit, which consists of a 76.2cm (30-inch) Trinity Panoramic Display panel. You can expect this panel to feature top-notch infotainment features and a cutting-edge user interface – well, what else do you expect from a Kia anyway?!

On the outside – oh, boy, we think it’s a looker! – you’ll find Kia’s signature starmap LED lighting which, undoubtedly, lends the Syros a futuristic, sophisticated look. The distinctive Kia Signature Digital Tiger face goes a step further to enhance its commanding road presence and, if that’s not enough for you, it even gets 17-inch Crystal Cut alloy wheels, streamlined door handles, puddle lamps with Kia logo projection and – if you haven’t noticed already – muscular contours on the whole, all of which give the Syros some serious standout appeal and add to its dynamic presence.

All of this really makes you really watch out for the Kia Syros, right? Well, we told you so!
