Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is set to unveil its first electric scooter for the Indian market on November 27, 2024. Building up to the official reveal, the company has released a teaser, giving a glimpse at the scooter’s LED headlamp design. Titled ‘Electrify your dreams,’ the teaser showcases a rectangular LED headlamp with the Honda logo positioned right below it.

The upcoming electric scooter is expected to carry the nomenclature of one of Honda’s most popular scooters, the Activa. The e-scooter will likely feature Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, with a range of around 100-150 km on a single charge, but there are no confirmed specifications available yet.

This new electric offering will compete with established models in the market, such as the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ather 450X, and Ola S1. As Honda enters the electric two-wheeler segment, it is poised to make a strong impact, combining the popular Japanese brand identity with modern electric mobility. Stay tuned as we bring you more details as they come.
