Mahindra has offered a sneak peek at the premium interiors of the all-new Scorpio-N. Being developed by a team of global engineers, designers and experts, the ‘Big Daddy of SUVs’ seems to be keeping up to its name. The new Scorpio-N will launch in India on the 27th of June.
Mahindra is targeting the perceptive, urban and tech-savvy customers in the market for a tough, premium SUV. The SUV will get AdrenoX, with immersive features and intuitive technology.
The premium 3D sound system by Sony will also bring an immersive audio experience for passengers. It will also get an electric sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and brown and black upholstery. The cabin also gets wireless charging, a dual pod instrument cluster with a MID unit, an engine start-stop button, cruise control, multiple drive modes and six airbags.
The SUV also gets captain seats in the second row and front-facing seats in the third row. Lower variants could most likely get a bench-style seat in the second row. Further, it will get 60:40 split seats in the third row to offer better cargo space. The Scorpio-N will come with the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine and the new 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol.
It will take on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Nissan Kicks, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Tata Harrier and the Jeep Compass in the Indian market.
